Boone Outdoor Adventure's campground offers a variety of full hook-up sites for RV and Travel Trailers that include water, electric, and sewer; including sites with sites along the New River. We have 30-amp and 50-amp sites. We have several pull-thru sites, and back-in sites, and are big rig friendly.

Boone Outdoor Adventures welcomes campers interested in staying for a night, a weekend, midweek, or for an entire vacation. Boone Outdoor Adventures is open year-round, of course, the summer in The High Country is cooler than "off the mountain", and we offer tons of things to do in the area. The campground is quieter in the winter months, but remember we have three ski slopes within 20 miles. Boone Outdoor Adventure's campground is the perfect escape into the great outdoors; no matter the season. Our rates vary by site type and seasonality, but our convenient online booking lets you review pricing and availability for your dates of interest.

Camping on the New River

One of the oldest rivers in the US, the deceptively named New River flows through some of North Carolina’s best mountain scenery. A designated National Wild and Scenic River, the tranquil New River is best explored by tube, kayak, canoe, or paddleboard. The shallow, gentle, crystal clear mountain water makes it suitable for beginners including swimming at many points along the river. There are nearby hiking trails ranging from short, easy jaunts to strenuous trails.

The fee for renting a bike is $10.00 a day.
